One of the most important aspects of the organization is education. Development goals and educational goals unite in a single strategy. The Eco-Village will demonstrate the practical application of wind and solar technologies integrated into daily life. Water de-salinization, purification, treatment, and pumping all require tremendous amounts of power. But low-horsepower composting contributes as well. Technology can augment these valuable eco-system services instead of inhibit them. Clean air and water are just the beginning.
The integrated systems approach addresses poverty and environmental degradation at their roots.
