Home of the Salmon Fund
The Salmon Fund itself will never be spent. But properties may be acquired with the fund as deposit on full payment if the elders agree. Unanimous consent by the elders will be required for any use of the fund itself. The nest egg will remain as certificates of deposit in environmentally responsible financial institutions. Eventually the fund will represent power against irresponsible institutions. A kind of Achilles Heel of capitalism will be exploited as salmon will have access to the boardrooms of the worst polluters. The more influence they have the more protected are their interests.
